Several myths are circulating out there about what causes acne. Let’s straighten out some right now.
- Dirt does not cause acne- A blackhead may look like dirt plugging one of your pores, but this is not the cause.- The sebum and skin cells mix together and get sometimes the opening of the pores. But the real cause is still deep inside the pore.- Enjoy your chocolate and French fries. Revel in these favorites will not increase the production of sebum in the skin.- Some of you may be told that sexual activity or masturbation can cause acne. That’s not true.
Who more acne?
While both boys and girls can get acne – it is more likely to be worse in boys because their bodies to produce more skin oils.
Oddly enough, your immune system and come into play – you make them particularly susceptible to the bacteria that get trapped in the hair follicles.
What does aggravate acne?

While Keep your skin clean is an important part of treatment, remember to be gentle – no scrubbing, no picking or squeezing. You can survive acne.
